Addy Weaver, MA
Addy is a graduate from the University of Lynchburg where she studied Psychology, Theatre, and Gender Studies and she is now in the PhD program at URI. She is highly interested in having a career in the education sector and implementing solutions to equity issues in order to improve the lives of students. Topics such as power differentials as portrayed through nonverbal behavior, interracial interactions, and interpersonal perception guide her research. Her current master's thesis addresses the perception and behavior toward black leaders when they display expansive body positions.
